Hi everybody! Today was really fun. Even though I thought it was gonna be complete boresville. Here's what happened.
This morning, Mom got a call from one on her friends, Allison, who has a daughter named Florence who Heather and Kirsten are friends with. She has a son in 4th grade (or at least I think so) and a daughter in 6th grade, but I'd never met the daughter. Anyways, Allison called and asked Mom if she and the whole family wanted to come over for a drink that evening, and Mom said that Sure, we'd come. I told Mom right away that I didn't want to go, but Mom insisted that I come because the whole family was supposed to go. A Christmas special TV program that I'd really wanted to watch was on that evening, while we were going to be at their house. Just perfect! >=P
So, Mom made me go to their house against my own will. I had no intention at all of making friends with their daughter, Emily. I planned to just sit alone by myself and read my Harry Potter book (that I'd already read 3 times before). But, fortionately, that wasn't exactly how things turned out. *****NOTE: I'll be back a.s.a.p. to finish this entry, I'm just gonna take a quick break and get something to eat. =)*****

Not much to write about today. All we really did was go downtown and buy Charmant (my dog) a little jacket. It's so cute! It's brown leathery-looking on the outside and then for the inside lining, it's fleece. Little Charmooie looks uber-cute when he's wearing it! =D
I've started on the new layout; it looks absolutely wicked. It'll be much more organized, too. Stay tuned for updates! =) But for now, this is Danielle signing off...
Happy holidays! Love from Danielle

Hello people! I know I haven't written in a long time. ()()() A very long time... Well, it's all the Sims fault. Yep, the Sims. My dad got it working on the comp and now... I'm addicted! @_@ I've got the Sims Deluxe Edition, it's the Sims (original) and the Sims Livin' Large combined. It's really fun! Hehe, I made my family and at first we started out reallly poor with hardly any money... but then... heh heh... I leanred a very helpful cheat. Press Ctrl+Shift+C, then a little green box should appear at the top left-hand side of the screen. Click in it then type, "rosebud". Press Enter and watch as your money grows by §1000!!! Very useful ^_~
Well anyways, today I'm taking a break from the Sims to write in this dear blog. I've been mistreating it lately! Hardly paying any attention to it... Awww, poor bloggie! Lol! =P I'm going to try to organise some archives so it won't be so messy, and maybe get a new layout. Plus, I'll have to start writing in it more often! >_<
Today we're off school (Yay!) except this morning everyone had to go up to school to recieve the Bulletins (aka report cards) and have a short 10-minute conference with the teacher. Everything went well, except my teacher said I'm shy V_V;;;;;;;;;;; I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. SwEaTdRoP!!! ()
Getting the report card went fine, but then afterwards Dad and I had a little... disagreement. You see, when my teacher showed us my grades, she had "72%" written down for Latin. I thought this was kind of strange, because I make really good grades in Latin and the exam wasn't very hard. So, back in the car, I looked at my latin exam and it said at the top "49/60" and then "82%". Dad was determined to go talk to my teacher and have her change the grade if it needed it, but I was hesitant to just go and butt in someone's conference for my problem. Dad dragged me along inside, and we waited outside the class until my teacher finished with one kid, then we went and talked to her about it. She agreed that she had, indeed, made a mistake and that she'd change it. So Dad and I started towards the car. I was feeling a little annoyed, so I said bitterly, "We problably made her late."
WRONG MOVE!!!
Dad practically slammed me against the brick wall and said some pretty cutting stuff about how I'd better change my attitude, also managing to throw in the "F WORD" *gasp* somewhere there in the sentence. Then he let me go.
I'll never, ever forgive him completely. Luckily no-one was around, but what if there had been someone I knew? That would have really changed their perspective about me and my dad. Dad's always saying to Heather and Kirsten when they're acting up in public, "Stop it right now, you're embarasssing me." Well, did he ever think that he could have been embarassing me? Obviously not.
Well, he apologized in the end, but like I said, I don't think I can ever forgive him completely. He was awful and mean, and I don't think that's how a dad should act... even when their kid is acting up themself. Two wrongs don't make a right.
Well, there's my 2 cents. And now, I have the entire Chirstmas vacation ahead of me... 2 weeks without school! Woo-hoo! =)Love from Danielle

Sheesh. I really need to get some archives for all these blog entries. O_o I'm too lazy though. Bwahahaha! O_X
Whee! *sigh* I really need to learn some more HTML. I get really depressed when I go to blogs like THIS ONE and they look so sophisticated and interesting and intelligent. Mine looks... um... simple. Lol. Oh well, it's not like I have much time to learn HTML anyways. This will have to do for now. V_V
Anyways, I have my History exam today. It went... okay, I guess. I got a 75%. *wince* But really, it's not as bad as it sounds. That was one of the HIGHEST grades in the class. I'm not kidding. And I consider that pretty good from an "Anglophone" (English-speaking person) like me. Hehe. Tomorrow's the Geography test. That should be really simple. I make really good grades in Geography. =DDD BTW, sorry if I'm boring you with all this dull exam talk. But the exams are usually the highlight of my day for right now. =P
Um, well, that's all for now, I guess. Bbfn! Love from Danielle

Hi guys. I know I haven't been blogging much. I've been really busy, and I've also been having some problems with my comp. You know how it is. Anyways, I'm too tired to type out an entire entry, so here's a copy of an email that I sent to my friend McCall earlier today. It'll kinda tell you what's been going on in my life recently and stuff.
Hi! Wassup? I haven't heard from you in awhile. Anything interesting happening in Texas? There's a lot going on here!
First of all, for some reason here they have "Saint Nicholas" (aka Santa =P) come on December 5 and we get presents from our family and stuff on the regular date. So I already got my pressies! Nyah nyah nyah nyah nyah! Hehe! Anyways, I got lots of trinkets in my stocking like candy and lip gloss and hair things and stuff... plus I got the Sims Deluxe Edition CD rom! Have you ever heard of it? You get to create these people and control their lives our whatever. (Bwahaha, I'm going to make a Mikel person and then torture him! ) It sounded fun, so I asked for it. =P
BTW, do you have your Xmas tree up yet? We do. Just wondering, do you have an angel or a star at the top of your tree? We have an angel.
This week @ school we're having Xmas exams. YUCK! >=P Tomorrow we're having the History exam. Wish me luck. Today we had the math exam and it was really simple.
Oh! And before I go, I saw the Harry Potter movie this weekend. It was really good. Even though I thought Moaning Murtle was really annoying. Lol. =P
GET ON AIM, OKAY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! =)
Gros bisous

So there you have it. My week in a nutshell. =P Anyways, before I go I want to talk a little more about the HP movie that just came out. I went to see it on Sunday. It was really good! Better than the first. With the first movie, you kind of get tired of it when you watch it a lot, but I don't think I'd ever get tired of the 2nd movie. BTW, I really liked:
- The Slytherin common room.
- The Quiddich match. (It was MUCH more realistic than the one in the 1st movie.)
- The special effects were really good.
- All the parts with Rupert Grint in them (he's hilarious!).
- Plus I think Tom Felton is hot. =P
Well, I g2g now. At least I'll feel better that I've finally blogged something. TTYL! Love from Danielle

Hehe! It's 5:45 @ night and I'm still in my pyjamas! >_<() Today's been a really laze-around-the-house-bored day. I spent most of my time playing on the computer. Lol! My sissies went to a Nutcracker ballet where one of their friends are dancing. So it's just been me, dad, and Charmant for most of the day. Dad put up a lot of our X-mas decorations... he assembled our fake Christmas tree and put some of our wood cut-outs in the yard. I can't WAIT for Christmas Eve to come! Pressies pressies pressies! Lol! =P Well, that's all for now loyal readers... Sign my new Guestmap or die... okay bye Hate from Danielle (unless you sign my Guestmap! Lol!)

WhEeEe! =3 Today was so fun! My tutor Gail and her husband Vic came over for Thanksgiving! (You might've noticed that it's not actually Thanksgiving by looking at the date, but we decided to get together on a Saturday because it was better for everyone [we don't have a thanksgiving break! ;_;]) Anyways, we really pigged out! I had... some turkey, two pieces of bread, one helping of broccoli w/ cheese sauce, one "slice" of cranberry sauce, four helpings of mashed potatoes w/ gravy, and two pieces of maple nut pie! Phew! O_O I was so sick afterwards. Oh well. It was all worth it! =D Gail and Vic stayed most of the day; it was really fun. Happy Thnaksgiving, everyone! (even though it's already passed O_X) Love from Danielle

Unhhhh... *holds head in hands* What an awful day... *whimpers* It's not true... it can't be true... *sniff sniff* I can't believe it... I made a 50% on that History test! *bursts into tears* It's not fair! I studied my butt off and that's what I get! ...
Pretty bad, eh? But, it's not like I was the only one! 55%-60% was the average grade in the entire 7th grade. It was so unfair! On one of the questions, she said something like, "Where did prehistoric men live and how did they find nourriture?" so I answered, "They find nourriture by hunting. They lived in tents or in the interior of caves. They were nomad." Good, right? WRONG! She took off points on everyone that didn't put the definition of "nomad" in the answer! It's that stupid? If she wanted the definition of "nomad", she should have asked it in a different question! I would have gotten it right! >=C
So of course my parents nearly killed me. They don't understand! My dad said I should have gone up and talked to the History teacher, and maybe asked her if there was something that I could do to bring up my grade. Yuck... he doesn't know my History teacher like I do. I just wouldn't feel comfortable talking to her, you know? >_<
So anyways, it wasn't a very good day. But there was one little funny thing that happened at recess. Four of the boys in our class "stole" Manon's pencil case and were making her chase after them to get it back. So all the girls in our group (there's 7 of them, counting me) start running after them, but then they go into the boy's changng room where girl's aren't allowed. We're about to give up when we decide to block the changing room door so the boys can't get out! So eventually they try to come out of the changing rooms, but 7 girls are a lot stronger than 4 boys! But then the bell rang, plus we saw a teacher coming and thought we might get in trouble, so we started walking away. Suddenly, the boys BURST out of the changing rooms and one guy named Axel comes running after us and Manon SCREAMED at the top of her lungs! Lol... well anyways if you didn't find that funny, then I guess it's one of those things were you'd have to be there... But for now, it's bye bye from me! =) Love from Danielle

PHEW! I'm so stressed out. I have so many tests coming up that I can't even count. Science, history, english, french... *sighs as she sits down in a chair* I can't take it all! =C
Today was, besides finding out about all the tests I'll have to take, a pretty good day. Except for one little event. It look place during the long recess that lasts and hour. I went with all my friends in the class because one of them wanted to get money or something. Anyways, Alexandra and her group were in the class too. Suddenly, one of them came over to me and asked me how to spell my last name. I was wearing a shirt that said "Snow Girl" on it, and Snow is my last name, so I just pointed to the word "Snow" on my shirt. Then, as we left, they started making fun of my last name while I walked out the door. I was so shocked! They're always so nice to me! But it didn't stop there. My friends and I went into the class another time during the recess, I heard Scarlett, this girl who's usually REALLY nice to me, say, "I mean, Snow?" And then at the end of the recess, Scarlett asked me why "Snow" was on my shirt and I told her because it had been a joke, which was true. But it was so weird! Scarlett's always been so nice. And I DON'T want to get on her bad side because she's one of the most popular girls in school. It was really confusing though. I think maybe they've started to turn against me because I hang out with Celine & her group, which they're not very fond of. =/ Oh well... at least Celine and all of them are really nice to me 24/7. =) Love from Danielle

Howdy folks! =3 Guess what I did today! *audience groans* *pretends not to hear it* La dee da dee da... umm... anyways...
Today was a Monday. I have a question. Who likes Mondays? Raise your hand. *crickets chirp in the background* That's what I thought! I hate Mondays! They're days of misery! Plus I have boring classes on Monday! >=( But I guess today wasn't so bad. Religion class was boring as usual, but nothing too hard. And swimming was okay, even though we had a swimming exam and we had to swim laps non-stop for the entire class. >_< But luckily, class was running a little late so it wasn't that long.
*sigh* I have a lot of tests coming up this week. I don't see why they give us all these tests when we have exams coming up in two weeks!
Well, my mean parents are buging me to get off. They're so annoying. >_<() But that's all, anyways. Bbfn... Love from Danielle
PS~ Oh wait! I almost forgot. All the boys changed seats today. I'm still by stupid people, but not as stupid as before. =) Bye

OMG I JUST WENT TO THE CUTEST SITE EVER! CLICK HERE to go visit it! It's sooo kawaii and original! =)
Now about the rest of my day. I spent a lot of time doing homework. I had homework from my tutor and homework from Religion class at school. I made a big mistake because I left my History and Science folders @ school... I have big tests coming both of them. I really need to study hard for History to bring my grade up. () Anyways, I talked to McCall on AIM for a little while and she's doin' okay. =) Apparently, she's having Thanksgiving break this week! No fair! >=( It's so weird that they don't celebrate Thanksgiving here. I mean, it's logical and everything, but it still seems... weird. I've been celebrating Thanksgiving all my life and here's people that probably don't even know what it is! =P We're definitly going to celebrate Thanksgiving though. Mom's ordered a turkey and we're gonna have my French tutor and her husband (they're both Americans) over for dinner. That should be fun. =) Anyways, I have boring old school tomorrow... *pouts* I hate school! Lol! >=P Love from Danielle

WHOOPIE!!!!! I just got the GREATEST NEWS EVER! In April, we're going to the usa!!! To Texas, and I'm probably going to see my bestest bud, McCall! And spend the night @ her house! =DDD I'm so happy, happy, happy... WHEE!!! =3
Anyways! About the rest of my day! Well, hmm, I know I must have done something... *reads through her notes* Um... Here it is! *reads...* Sat in front of computer... *looks for more but that's all* Um... well there you have it! My day in a nutshell! (lol) Oh yeah, but tonight I watched a movie called "Ever After"... I've seen it before, but it's a really good movie. It has a really good story. Kind of like Cinderella, but a little different. =) Well anyways, as you can see, I've accomplsihed a lot today! >_< Bye for now... Love from Danielle

Ohhh nooo... *sniff sniff* It's awful! I have cold! *cough cough* Why me? ;_; I had to suffer thorugh school all day with a runny nose and no tissues... Heh heh, I'm real prepared eh? =P Anyways, today at school would've been great if I hadn't been sick. Recess was really fun. My friends and I had a water fight together. One of us would take a water bottle full with water and try to splash the other people! It was so much fun! I didn't get that wet though. You should have seen one of my friends, Chloe though! She was soaked! =P I hope we play agian on Monday. But for now, it's the weekend! =D Yay! Love from Danielle

There's not much to write about today, it was just a normal day, but soemthing really really great happened that I just have to tell! Well, remember that Russian kid at my school named Arthur that never does any work? I mentioned him in Tuesday November 19's entry. Anyways, today during French class, he was making all this noise and not doing anything as usual, and my teacher sent him out in the hall! Heh heh! Serves him right! I know that sounds mean, but he wasn't brought up very well at all... He's really rude and he always gets in trouble. But anyways. Ttyl! Love from Danielle

OHHHHH THE PAIN!!!!! *cries* My throat hurts! It's awful!!! I've never experienced such pain!!! Save meeeee.....
*cough cough* Ummm, that was exaggerated a bit... *sweatdrop* But it's true that my throat hurts. A lot. Poor me. ;_; But anyways, today we had a half day at school =) And then my French tutor Gail came. She comes every Wednesday for 2 hours. Same old, same old... *yawn* Well that's all for today. Short, eh? That's unusual. Have I forgotten something? *reads back over entry* No... Oh well. I guess today was just r-e-a-l-l-y boring. O_X Love from Danielle
Tuesday, November 19, 2002
Well. I had all my tests today. Ummm... *sweatdrop*
First test was in Latin. I don't really know how to explain it... Well, a week ago she gave us this sheet of paper that looked like this:
word in latin | translation in french | words in french that come from that latin word
and we bacially just got the same sheet back again but we had to fill it in. I only missed one question on that.
Next test was in French. It was, for the msot part, pretty simple. There's this guy named Arthur and he never studies or anything, so he didn't even do it. He's like me, he doens't speak fluent French, and also he doesn't know how to write our alphabet because he's from Russia or something. *shrugs* He never does any work! He never studies or anything! I mean, you wouldn't expect him to get very good grades at first, but he doesn't even try! He's really annyoing. *pouts*
Then, last test, was at the end of the day in Technology. We had two tests there actually, the first one was memoristaion (I got 8/10 right) and the second one we did in a group and you could use your notes (I don't know what I got on that one yet).
Well then! The only thing that was interesting today was those tests, so I guess I be going since I have nothing else to say. Bye! =P Love from Danielle
Monday, November 18, 2002
*phew!!!* Today was really busy! It was my first day back to school after the weekened... yuck yuck... and, I don't don't how else to put it, but today was weird.
The day started out normally enough. First class was English. English was strangely boring today. Usually it's pretty fun. We're starting a new unit on product advertising and stuff. Today we had to get into groups of four and choose a category like cereal, drinks, chips, etc and pick some items from that category and write down what makes them different from other products on the market. (run-on sentence! O_X) Unfortionately, my friend Stephanie and I got stuck with Alexandra and Scarlett (they're really nice but not very serious about their studies). It worked out okay though. After that we had French class. That was normal. Then we had... *dun dun dun* Religion class. *"scream" sound effects in the background* Lol... I don't like Religion class at all! I guess it's not really the class itself that I don't like, it's the teacher. >_< And plus, we have it for two hours in a row! =P Well anyways, it was absolute _ELL. We had to watch this movie and I didn't understand anything... and we have to answer all these questions on it for Monday!!! ;_; Heh heh... has anyone seen the movie "Medicine Man"? IF YOU HAVE, EMAIL ME PLEASE!!! I'm desperate! ;_;
After that, we had recess... then "Formation" class. It's basically just when our homeroom teacher comes and makes sure that everything's going okay in the classroom. THAT WAS PROBABLY THE WORST CLASS OF THE DAY. Why? Because we had to change freakin' seats!!! I had the BEST seat before. I was in the back, and we have to sit boy/girl, but I was by this really nice guy named Dorian who speaks English, and I had lots of room and everything! But NOW I'm right smack in the middle of the classroom with hardly any space, between the two dumbest boys in the class! And there's this really weird guy named Dan (who I think has a crush on me) right in front of me! I swear, if I could choose where I'd want to sit myself that would be the LAST place that I'd pick! ;_;
Afterwards we had Math. Well, actually we didn't. Instead of Math, these people from the south of France came and gave a Reggae "concert" for us! It was fun (anything beats classes)! But, afterwards, we had to go to my absolute LEAST favorite class... SWIMMING. Oh, the horror! It wasn't that bad though... until the end. You see, at the beginning of class we change into our bathing suits and put all our stuff in these lockers, where you have to put 4 numbers (of your choice) for your personal code, then when you want your stuff again you have to enter the code again. Well, I messed up... I put 3 numbers instead of 4! The swimming teacher went and asked the people at the front desk to come and open it for me, but it was still embrarrassing!
And then I went home. I had to study A LOT... I have THREE tests tomorrow in Latin, French, and Technology. I think I'll do pretty good. Wish me luck!!! ;) Love from Danielle

Hi everyone! It's me again. I'm still trying to decide what to do with this blog. Layout-wise, I mean. >_< If you have any ideas, email me... just click on that bootyful link on your left! *points left*
Well anyways, today's started out pretty good on the most part, even though it's still in the morning. Every Sunday my dad takes Charmant, my doggie, to dog obedience school, and usually he makes me go with him. But today he just let me stay home for some reason! O_X Weird, but... cool. What can I say. Also, I found out that my French tutor, Gail, is coming over for dinner tonight. She's really nice and funny, and she's Texan like us too. In fact, she lived really really close to us in Texas, and then she moved at the same time to Belgium as we did! It's that freaky??? O_o
Well, nothing else has hapened today so far, but expect to hear more from me later... ;) For the meanwhile, I'm gonna brainstorm for ideas on how to decorate this stupid blog... >_< Love from Danielle
Saturday, November 16, 2002
Hi everyone! You're probably wondering what the heck happened to me! O_X Well, I'm alive and very well, thank you! =D I think I'm going to start writing in this blog again, I read all of my old entries today and decided that I really missed blogging! The reason that I stopped blogging in the first place was because I was too busy. Typical. V_V() But my life is really changing a lot, and I'd like to keep track of it all somehow. So, anyways, I'd better fill you guys in on how much my life has changed since I stopped posting awhile ago:
1.) I don't go to L'Ecole De Hamme-Mille anymore! I thought I was really gonna miss it, but now Hamme-Mille seems like living hell compared to my school now! =P My new school, an international school called "Le Verseau", is such the best! Almost EVERYONE there speaks at least a little Enlgish. And also, there are some people there who are in the same situation as me: They don't speak fluent French! =DDD I have A LOT of new friends: Celine, Charlie (a girl), Juliette, Chloe, Manon, and Stephanie are just a few! I can't believe I ever went to that stinky Hamme-Mille place! Yuck yuck yuck!!! I love Le Verseau and I'd never, not even for $100000000000000000000000, go back to Hamme-Mille. NEVER! =D
2.) I speak more French than I did! Yep, I can listen to someone having a conversation and USUALLY understand what they're saying. Plus I can say a lot more myself.
3.) I know b-a-s-i-c HTML. I'm going to give my blog a makeover when i get a chance! =D
Ummm... and that's it I think! Not too dramatic. =) Well, like I said, just wait for awhile, I'll probably start blogging back here very soon! So 'till then! CIAO! Love form Danielle

Dear Diary-
I HAVE SOOO MUCH TO TELL YOU! MY BRAIN IS LITERALLY BUBBLING OVER WITH THOUGHTS! SO HERE GOES! ;P
First of all, first thing this morning at school, we changed seats. I have some good news and some bad news about my new location: Good thing: My friend Julie sits next to me and my other friends Chloé and Melissa sit in front of me. Bad news: Guess who’s sitting behind me. Just guess. *balls her hands into fists and screams* MIKAEL!!! OF ALL THE PEOPLE WHO JUST HAD TO SIT BEHIND ME, MIKAEL DOES! THE FILTHY LITTLE FREAK! *her face is red from anger* Grrr!!! That just makes me so mad! >=(
*sighs* But anyways, there’s really nothing I can do about it. About the other things that happened at school today. On our first recess Mikael had this little magnifying glass. (All my stories seem to include Mikael, don’t they? That’s because he FOLLOWS me eveywhere, the freaky little pervert!) So, he obviously decided to do a little “experiment”- He found a piece of paper on the ground, put the magnifying class so it was magnifying the sun, and tried to burn the paper. It worked. After a little while, the paper actually started smoking! Luckily he wasn’t stupid enough to try to actually catch the paper on fire. -_-() But then he tried the same thing- on WOOD. On the school’s windows there’s wood on the bottom. THAT WORKED TOO! Guess what he did- he burned his name into the wood. =P He’s so stupid.
Another thing. The second recess had just ended, and we had just gone to Dutch class. When all of a sudden, my homeroom teacher comes in, says something to the Dutch teacher (I couldn’t understand what she said), and the next thing I know, we’re all packing up our Dutch stuff, dropping it off in our homeroom, and going outside. Keep in mind I had NO IDEA WHATSOEVER what’s going on. So THEN, our class separates into four different cars: I was in the principal’s car with Chloé, Melissa C., Carole, Julie, and of course, the principal. So we’re just driving along (Chloé kept waving to the cars behind us) and I am just like, Have these people lost their MINDS? What in the WORLD are we doing?! So finally the cars stop, we all pile out, and walk until we reach this place, then we go inside, sit down in chairs, and a play starts. When we got there, some other schools were already there. I didn’t really understand the play ‘cause it was in French, obviously. It was really funny though, because people kept forgetting their lines. (FYI the play was put on by kids.) And the funniest part was when the curtains closed; one kid ended up on the wrong side of the curtains! =P
Okay, this is the freakiest part of the entire day. We were outside, waiting for the cars to come pick us up, and I was just kinda roaming around and such. Well, while I was “roaming”, who should I spot but Mikael, of course. He had obviously found a little wire on the ground shaped as a heart, and he was looking at it. So I sighed in exasperation and went over someplace else. After awhile, I noticed that a few guys (including the twins) were hanging around Mikael and talking to him. Somehow I figured out that they were talking about the heart Mikael had in his hands, and I’m just like, Boys. You can’t live with ‘em, you can’t live without ‘em. But for some reason, I listened extra hard, and I heard someone asking Mikael if he was gonna give the heart to anyone. And then, Jeremy suggested, “Danielle?” I’m just like, JEREMY!!! DON’T GIVE HIM ANY IDEAS! And then, Mikael says something (stupid me, I didn’t hear what he said!). And then there was silence. If I were an anime character, I would’ve had the biggest swetadrop on my head. What if he had said, “Maybe,” or something? FREAK!!! =P
Anyways, (trying to change the subject =P) have I told you yet that 1.) We’re going to Delft, Holland over the weekend 2.) Next week H & K go to school “camp” for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 3.) We have Thursday and Friday off (or at least I do.)
Well, g2g to bed. I’ll bring paper with me to Delft then transfer my entries onto the comp. Buh-bye! Love from Danielle
PS~ I almost forgot to tell you. Guess who sat next to me during the play? I'll give you some hints: 1.) He's ugly 2.) He's stupid 3.) I hate him. Hmmm... WHO could it be?! >=P

Dear Diary-
It's 10:15 at night and I'm supposed to be in bed, asleep. (Of course, I wrote this entry down on a piece of paper and then transferred it onto the computer.) Somehow I just felt I HAD to write an entry for today.
Yesterday, we had no school. Some holiday. This weekend we're going to Delft, in Holland. I want some wooden shoes, but mom says she "doesn't think so". Party pooper! >=P Speaking of mom, we just had a long mother-daughter talk about Belgium. At the end she's all, "Remember, if you have any problems, you can talk to me." Ha. Like she'd understand any of my problems, anyways. She says things will get better next year when I go to the international school, "Le Verseau", where H & K are going now, because most kids speak English. No offense to her, but some "Le Verseau" will never come to CLOSE to the good times at had at JMS, my old school.
As you can tell, I'm in a bad mood right now. Maybe I'm just tired. Before I go to bed, just wanted to let you know that I've started writing a story. It's about my (Texan) friends and me. So far there's not very much, but maybe when/if I finish it or when/if it's good enough, I'll put it on fanfiction.net. Anyways. I'll keep you posted. Love from Danielle

Dear Diary-
YO TA ALL MA PEOPLE!!! =D Wassup? A LOT, and I mean A LOT, of stuff happened today. Today, of course, was a Monday, the worst day of the week (;_;)... just to let you know. ANYWAYS... 1.) I REALIZED... that not only is Mikael (that guy who likes me but I hate his guts) ugly, but he's stupid too. Listen to this: I CAN READ (French) BETTER THAN HE CAN. AND I DON'T EVEN KNOW THAT LANGUAGE! Okay, so maybe I can't read BETTER than he can, but if that's not the story, than I can read equal to him. >_<() 2.) I REALIZED... that I'm stupid too. Wanna know why? Well, here's the reason: we were going out to our first snack/recess and Melissa VDP. got ahold of my coat and she was teasing me by not giving it back. The only people inside were Melissa, Olivier, Philip, Jroice, and me. So I decided to ignore her as usual (usually if I do she's just put it back) and started walking out the door (she stayed put). She called by name to get my attention, and by this time Audrey, Jorice, Phillip, and Ollivier were watching. SO YOU KNOW WHAT MY STUPID SELF DOES? LOOKS BACK AT MELISSA FOR A MOMENT, THEN TURNS ON MY HEEL AND WALKS OUT THE DOOR. You might be wondering why that's so so stupid. Here's the logic of it: Melissa (who every guy in the class loves to tease and torment) vs. me (I don't know WHAT the guys think of me, but probably better than Melissa =P) WITH Audrey + gang watching... that means that they'd all be secretly voting for me to win, and they might had even joined in and been on my side. I GIVE UP MY CHANCE TO MAKE A GOOD IMPRESSION TO MY ONE TRUE... UM, CRUSH? =P Anyways, you get my drift. I'm so sad... ;_; But I guess it is, after all, my own fault. 3.) CAROLE AND CHARLY ARE A COUPLE... it wasn't just Carole's teasing. Charly always hugs her, puts his arm around her, etc etc out of his own free will now. I wonder if Gregory and Carole broke up then...? (Gregory's Carole's old b/f.) 4.) Just THINKING about this makes me wanna... well, you'll see. But first, so you'll understand the basic story, I'll have to make two "profiles":
1.) Mikael- Gender: Male- Looks: Ugly- Grade: 6th Subsrciption- The hate of my life. Enough said.
2.) Jeremy- Gender: Male Looks: Cute- Grade: 6th- Subscription: He's really nice and funny. He has an identical twin brother, Dimitri. I danced with Jeremy at a dance we had once at school.
Well, it was the recess after lunch (the longest one) and I was playing with my little friends in the 1st year for a change. (They are SOOO sweet!) Anyways, one time I looked up and looked across the playground and.. DO YOU KNOW WHAT MY I SAW WITH MY VERY OWN EYES? A FIGHT BETWEEN MIKAEL AND JEREMY. Now, when I say fight, I don't mean a fight like "I'm not your friend anymore," nothing verbal like that, but a real FIST-FIGHT. The were literally kicking each other, punching each other, clawing at each other, as hard as they could. They were really mad. So FINALLY a teacher puts a stop to it (thank the Lord, they would have ended up in the ER if someone hadn't [I don't really care if Mikael ended up in the ER, but Jeremy- that's another story. Okay, I know that was mean. I take that back.]). Anyways, they had to stand against the wall for a little while; and then they were, of course, still mad at each other, so they went to seperate sides of the playground. At first all the guys went over to Jeremy, but then, they all went over to the butt-head Mikael and started talking and playing and stuff. They just left Jeremy there, alone, and do you know what? It looked like Jeremy was crying. It really did. I felt sooo bad for Jeremy. It was just a pitiful sight. Later that recess, I guess Mikael and Jeremy had forgiven each other 'cause they were talking to each other, but do you know what I saw on Jeremy's hand? A HUMONGOUS gash. You should have SEEN the size of that thing. And it was fresh blood. Which means that Mikael gave that to him. I FELT LIKE MARCHING UP TO MIKAEL AND KICKING HIS FAT BUTT HAS HARD AS I COULD! >=( (In other words, I was really mad at Mikael. But then again, what’s new?)
OH WAIT! I almost forgot. Today was the weirdest day of gymnastics in the history of the universe. The gymnastics teacher made us line up in three rows, and then she made us do this really cheesy and embarrassing “dance”! It was to the song, “It’s raining men” by Geri Hawell. I’m not sure if that’s her last name, but it’s something like that. The most embarrassing part was at the very beginning of the song, we had to lie down. Then the gymnastics teacher would count to three (une, deux, trois) and your row number would have to rise into a position where you were leaning back against your arms. (Is that hard to understand? Sorry.) Then you’d have to raise up one leg, then raise up the other, and then… MOVE THEM UP AND DOWN!!! It was sooo awful. V_V()
Anyways… Love from Danielle =P

Dear Diary-
I AM SO HAPPY! I feel like bouncing off the walls with joy! And the thing is, I have no idea why! *hugs herself* Today just seems so great! 1.) It's FRIDAY! 2.) Today at school everyone was really hyper and funny! (More about that later.) 3.) Daddy's making an apple pie... and, just for me, he's making a SUGAR PIE! Ahh, bliss! 4.) Mom, dad, Heather, and Kirsten were gone most of the day so I got to stay home with Charmant and waste away in front of the computer! ^_^ The only word to describe me right now is "jubilant"! (I'm so happy that I'm not going to give myself the regular scolding for not writing in my diary for so long! ^_~)
There is only one thing that makes me sad today- exams. They're getting nearer. And the problem with that is, I don't know what to expect. I don't know what's going to be on the test, if they'll take my test for a grade, or if I'll even have to TAKE the test. But what I'm most worried about is passing onto 7th grade. Most of my grades on my report card right now are dashes. I just don't know what to think. Of course, the LAST thing I'd want would be to spend another year at L'Ecole de Hamme-Mille. I love that school dearly, but it would be so embarassing... and when I got back to the US everyone, including my friends, would be a grade ahead of me. ...I really don't want to think about this right now. It's ruining my jubilant mood.
Anyways, why don't I fill you in on what's been going on at school (besides exams). Well, like I mentioned in the first of this entry, everyone was really hyper today... and for that matter, everyone was really hyper the WHOLE WEEK. Today I noticed something... Carole seems to have taken a liking to Charly, or at least she's taken a liking to TEASING him. She always follows him around and hugs him and sits in his lap and stuff like that. I think she might just be joking, though, because she always laughs after it. I also noticed something else today... Audrey (that guy I like) looks really cute when he's confused, when he's embarassed, when he's angry, when he's sad, when he laughs... The list could go on and on! He's just SO CUTE! *hugs herself again* Uhhh... anyways... *blush* ...Hey wanna guess what? This is a funny story: (Before you read this, you should know that in Belgium all the kids unzip each other's backpacks to tease them. One of people's favorite targets is Melissa Van de Putte.) Yesterday after school while we were waiting in line to go outside this guy named Phillipe kept undoing the buckles of Melissa's backpack. So finally I decided to join in the fun and I started unbuckling Melissa's backpack with him. Eventually we went outside. And before I knew it, these guys named Olliver, Jorice, Mikael (Oh! I shudder at his name!), Bilal, and... you'll never belive it... AUDREY!!! had started unbuckling Melissa's backpack too. It was so hilarious... FINALLY Melissa just gave up trying to rebuckle her backpack and the fun ended. ;_; It was time to go anyways though. Ohhh, it was SO fun though!... I <3 Audrey!!! ^///^
Marilyn was absent this entire week. I really hope she gets better by next week because she's my best friend in Belgium. I really missed her this week. ;_;
Well I guess what's all I have to say. I've been reading the Sailor Orion series a lot nowadays... if you haven't already, go to www.sailororion.com... she writes REALLY good fanfiction. I have Pink's song "Don't let me get me" stuck in my head right now. I don't mind though. I love that song! =P «Love from Danielle» (Aren't those little «» things just TIGHT? =D And look at these... ¶ ± ƒ)

Dear Diary-
SOMEONE! Please shoot me! I haven't written in this diary for FOUR days and I am so behind that's it's not even funny! *everyone laughs* >_<()
Friday - Went to school! Yay! Ummm... no, j/k. But at least it was Friday! TGIF! Okay so school comes and goes, and for dinner we went to a Swiss fondue restraunt! =D Mmmm... there is NOTHING like Swiss fondue. For dinner I had cheese fondue and for dessert, CHOCOLATE FONDUE WITH FRUIT. Ohhh, it was to die for! ^o^ I tell ya, you haven't tasted food until you've had Swiss chocolate fondue... *blah blah blah*
Saturday - Heather and Kirsten went to a birthday party for one of their friends at their old school, L'Ecole de Hamme-Mille, named Maiven. It was really cute. It was at this center and in the party room it had a stage, lots of balloons, and they had a clown come. Very cute! Maiven (and all the other girls and boys as well) were VERY happy to see Heather and Kirsten. =)
Sunday - Sunday dad packed us up in the car and we went to Namur! Where not a word of English is spoken... but anyways, we had a picnic lunch by the lake (how traditional!) and then we spent the rest of the day at the chateau. Inside the grounds of the chateau there were a lot of things to do and see- A live replica of a war battle (just acting, of course, but real gun BOOMS ^_^), archery, a little thing where you can swing down the side of this hill, one of those ride that turns upside down (also known as the Barf-o-matic by my dad), people demonstrating self-defense techniques, fencing, etc etc. And THEN we went to the "amusement park". They had EVERYTHING! They had a lot of different rides and etc, and Heather, Kirsten and I went on the go-carts... very fun! I want to go back there with McCall when she comes to visit.
Today - Truthfully, nothing much! Went to school, la de da de da. ^_^ Weel ttyl I guess. Love from Danielle

Dear Diary-
I'm really... I don't know right now. All I have to say is that my life doesn't seem to be going the way I'd hope it would. I can't believe I, of all people, had to move to Belgium. Sometimes during school I just want to scream out, "Shut up all you Frenchies! Leave me alone! All I want is to go back to my home in McKinney, Texas, U.S.A.!" and watch the amazed looks on their faces. Danielle, quiet little tagalong American Danielle, screaming out in English during class. It may sound hilarious to you, but it's not one bit funny. Not at all.
Now that I read that, it sounds really stupid and whiny -_-() I'm sorry, but I just had to get that out. I'd feel awful if I didn't. But anyways, I've started watching MTV more often now. So because nothing interesting happened at school today, I decided to make a list of my fave music videos! Yay! =}
Here's how I rate each video... on a scale from 1-5, 5 being best. On each "title" I put the song title first and then the artist. Here goes!
1.) Don't let me get me - Pink - 4.5
A "Classic Pink"! The song had a great tune and theme and the music video was very interesting! She even threw some humor in! Go Pink! =}
2.) Wrong Impression - Natalie Imbruglia - 4.75
Yes! One of my favorite music videos AND songs! Natalie has a great voice and her music video was very... um... fun? All in all an excellent performance by Natalie! ^_~
3.) Fly - Blue - 4
I have NO IDEA if this is the name of this song... the little thingie that told the name and the artist went by too fast! But "Fly" is what I think it said... anyways, that blonde guy is super hot! =P Hehe! Good song and video
4.) Ain't that funny - Jennifer Lopez + JaRule - 4.75
JLo + JaRule = Good mix! Their songs turn out so good when they're together! I love JLo anyways... she thinks anime is cute! Hehe! Kick-butt song (very catchy) and above-average video!
5.) I'm not a girl, not yet a woman - Britney Spears - 3.5
Usually I'm not a very big fan of Britney Spears, but this song was pretty good and the music video was... touching? >_< Just watch it yourself, she did pretty good I think
6.) How you remind me - Nickelback - 4
I put this up here not as much because of the music video, but because of the song. It's really cool =D
7.) Hope - Shaggy - 5!!!
OH MY GOSH! NOW WE'RE TALKING ABOUT A TOTAL KICK-@$$ SONG AND MUSIC VIDEO HERE! This is my fave song by Shaggy. The video was kind of funny, like when he is completely unaware of all those people following him down the street, but it also has a "good message" (as my mom would say). Rock on Shaggy! =D
Okay, to be continued in some other entry… I’m lazy =P Love from Danielle

Dear Diary-
I am REALLY scared at the moment. Heather and Kirsten have on TUTUS and are dancing around the couch downstairs. () Charmant is scared of them, too. Lol…
I have some news! I always do… But anyways, the twins (in my class, haven’t I mentioned them before? Well, anyways, there are twin guys in my class. Their names are Dimitri and Jeremy. They look EXACTLY alike) dyed their hair! Jeremy’s looks the best, it’s spiked and is bleached blonde on the top (their hair is normally black). Dimitri’s looks… strange. It has random streaks of blonde on the top. It makes him look like a bird of prey. It’s scary. At least we will be able to tell them apart now! =P
Anyways… nothing much else happened today. Went to school for half a day. Had French tutoring. Just your average Wednesday… Oh, no! Wait! I almost forgot. My dad bought me this anime magazine and in it I found some anime/manga stores in Belgium! I think we’re either going to go to Antwerpen (spelling???) or Brussels this weekend and go SHOPPING! =D It said in the magazine that they have original Japanese version anime movies with English subtitles! DOWN WITH DUBBED! Hehe! I can’t wait to get my hands on one of those sweet, undubbed, full of CLAMP goodness CCS movies! Victory is sweet! =D Love from Danielle

Dear Diary-
I have a feeling, even though I’m just starting, that this is going to be one heck of a long diary entry. () Okay, here is my excuse for not writing in two days: Sunday was boring, nothing TO write about; Monday my family hogged the computer all day. Aren’t those the lamest excuses you’ve ever heard? Lol, but enough with my blabbering, onto da info. ^_^
Monday
Monday was the very un-sacred day that I had been dreading for two weeks. The beginning of school again after spring break. Ouch! Even those WORDS hurt! ;_; But it turned out being not as bad as I thought it would be. As most things turn out… hehe I’m kinda a worrywart. One of the first things that I noticed is that practically everyone had done something different with their hair over spring break. Julie had a red streak in her hair, one 3rd grader had bleached some of her hair blonde, countless people got their hair cut, etc etc. Well that was about all that I can think of…
Tuesday (today)
Today I noticed that my teacher always scrapes her fingernails on the blackboard. Ooh, whenever she does that, my own fingernails start to hurt and my ears start to hurt and I just have to close my eyes for a few seconds before I can think again. ^_^() None of the other kids seem to be bothered by it, though. Maybe they’ve just gotten used to it or something.
But anyways…
Today in Catholic we watched this (French) video about Jesus’ life. The problem was, it wasn’t animated. When they hung him up on the cross and hammered those nails into his hands, there was blood everywhere, it was nasty, and I decided not to watch too much after that, and I just wrote a run-on sentence! () Yay! But enough with the nastiness, I have some funny stories from today. First of all, before gym class, all the boys (stupidly) try to see how high they can throw their gym bags in the air, and one of the guy’s bags got stuck in this crevice thing near the ceiling! (Note: Our school’s ceiling is REALLY high fyi) So they had to go up on the little bridge-like thingiemcbobber and try to get it down with a broom! () FINALLY they got it down after practically all the guys in our class tried! But anyways, at recess today it was raining so we got to play inside in the main entrance hall thingie. Everyone was REALLY HYPER! This one guy in my class named Dimitri came skipping by singing “La la la la la” (Note: That’s pretty uncharacteristic for him, he’s usually one of those athletic no-nonsense types of guys). This one guy was holding this other guy by the neck and legs so the guy was being held horizontally and just walking around with him. Later the guy that had been held by that other guy kept sitting on random girl’s laps for some reason. (This next one I do not find that funny…) Mikel kept throwing Bilal’s jacket on my head. Melissa kept doing the chicken dance. () We’re all nutty
Well, that’s it for today! Talk to you tomorrow! ^_~ Love from Danielle

Dear Diary-
I'm not so 'bleh' anymore today! ^_^ Hehe! Okay, to the point. Today about 11:00 or so in the morning we took Charmant to the groomer's and he got a lil' hair cut! (And toenail cut! ^_^) He looks very different now that he's all trimmed- but very CUTE of course! After Charmant's fur cut we took a trip to- Brussels, Belgium! It's so awesome there- all the buildings are really old and beautiful. Once in Brussels we went to a museum called Musical Intruments Museum. Pretty self-explanitory. ^_^ But this is the cool part: At the beginning they gave you a pair of headphones and whenever you walked by the musical intruments, they played! So anyways that was really neat. ^_^ Then we were all hungry so we went to an Italian restraunt (I have NO idea whatsoever if I spelled that right but who cares) and there were lots of BRITISH people there! That means lotsa ENGLISH! lol When we finished eating, it was RAINING outside (Yucky yucky yucky!!! X_X) so we shortened our visit and walked on over to this sweets shop called Dandoy, then picked up some candies almonds, and then dad wanted chocolate but we didn't get any for some reason, then we went home! ^_^() Isn't that cool? () But anyways, a demain mes amies! ('Till tomorrow my friends!) Love from Danielle
-A FEW MINUTES LATER-
Wait a minute! I forgot to add- I have new obsession! KiSS dolls! ^_^ Just fyi! Later! Love from Danielle

Dear Diary-
I'm so pissed with my freaking computer at the moment... Or maybe I'm just pissed at Geocities... that server is so messed... I don't even want to get into the subject. ><#
But anyways, on a happier note, about today. I'm so lazy that I'm just gonna make a list of the major events. 1.) Charmant got a second shot today, he didn't find it very amusing... 2.) Charmant's got a date with the groomer tomorrow... wonder if he'll enjoy that! ^~ 3.) My grandad's b-day... talked to him on the phone and he said that there was a drought or somethin where they live... pray for 'em ^~ 4.) Only two more days till spring break is over, that's a very bad thing 5.) Finally got past the stupid ice path on Pokemon Crystal version... it took me forever to figure that darn thing out -_-()
Well, that's basically all for today, now for yesterday and the day beofre that: 1.) Flew on the plane to Belgium ;_; 2.) Saw the movie "Shallow Hal" on the plane, it was cute... rated PG13 I think () 3.) Was very tired -_-zzz
Well, that's all folks... you can probably tell just by reading this entry that I'm very "blah" today. Whatever that means. () Ttyl, loyal diary... Love from Danielle

Dear Diary-
;_; I'm so sad! Tomorrow we go home! *cries* Sniff sniff... I'm a big baby...
But, as usual, I've been lazy and have a lot to cover. ^_^() First of all, I saw McCall Saturday and Sunday! It was so much fun! Her hotel was awesome. It was called Embasy Suites (like you really care though, huh?). We spent a lot of our time together wandering around the hotel and riding the elevators. ^_^() She was still the same old Callers that I remember so well, though! (Which is a good thing, FYI. ^_^) The hotel also had an indoor swimming pool so I got to "test out" my new swimming suit. It worked good. ^_^() (Is that even correct grammar? I thought not O.o) And I got to spend the night at her hotel, of course. We got to watch Tenchi Muyo- UNDUBBED!!! Whoo-hoo! It was on Cartoon Network's "Adult Swim". They also had on some other good UNdubbed animes that I had never heard of. I forget what they're called, though. () But anyways...
The next day we went to the mall together! (I had been going to the mall three days straight... I went on Saturday before I saw McCall) We went straight to Waldenbooks, of course. FYI, Saturday when I went to the mall, I went with Mark and Jennifer.. and they bought Heather and me manga! By this time we had bought Saint Tail 1 and Miracle Girls 1, 2, and 3. Cool! ^_^ McCall bought 4 mangas (!!!): 3 Sailor Moon Stars, and one called Corrector Yui. And get this... I still had some money left, so I bought Saint Tail 2... and Kirsten bought Saint Tail 3! Yay yay yay! Now we have the entire series of Miracle Girls and Saint Tail that they had at Waldenbooks! ^_^() I sooo want Miracle Girls 4... I have to find out what happens next... ()
But anyways, today we saw the movie ICE AGE!!! It was really cute! I don't know why, but I like the Diego or Deigo (however you spell his name) the sabertooth tiger the best. I don't know why... usually I like the more humorous kind better. ^_^() Anyways, g2g... () Love from Danielle

Dear Diary-
It's 12:00 in the afternoon right now. Mark and Jennifer are over, and everyone is playing a game of marbles. ^_^ Except me, of course. And Gran gran isn't either- she has to go to a party of some sort and she's waiting for someone to pick her up. I CAN'T WAIT for this afternoon- I'm going to see McCall at last! It is going to be SO FUN. I just got off IM with McCall, and she had to get off because they have to drive here! ^^ Oooooh I'm so excited! I don't have much to write because it's still pretty early in the day. Maybe I'll write more later, if I have the chance. Oh, but I do have some bad news- 1.) I can't find the key to my (paper) diary. 2.) I can't find the white marker that changes the colors in my marker set! >_<() Oh well, hopefull I'll survive -_-() Love from Danielle

Dear Diary-
Today has been such a great day. =) I wore one of my new shirts from Old Navy. It's blue and it has a picture of two dalmation puppies on it. Too kawaii! =P Speaking of dalmations, Mark and Jennifer visited us today! They're my second cousins. I related them to dalmations because they have two dalmations of their own- Apollo and Riley. I love it whenever they visit. Plus they brought a "present"- Krispy Kreme donuts! My favorite food! =D Mark and Jennifer are really nice. Mark is really funny and Jennifer is so sweet. They recently bought a new house in Austin, Texas. It is so awesome. It has a library and- get this- a MOVIE THEATER. Just a small one, but still! We've never been to their new house before, but they've shown us pictures. And besides, how can a house with a movie theater NOT be cool? =) Mark and Jennifer also told us good news today- Jennifer is pregnant! I'm so happy for her. They've been trying to have a baby for a long time. And I love little babies! So kawaii they are! ;)
That wasn't the end to good news today, though. My bestest bud McCall was on IM today, and we talked about seeing each other tomorrow. Here are the great things I found out: 1.) Her whole family is coming to see us! That means her little baby brother and sister too! Their names are Trey and Hope. They're twins, and sooooo adorable ^_^ 2.) They are staying at a hotel with a swimming pool! 3.) I'm going to... *drumroll* SPEND THE NIGHT AT HER HOTEL! =D I'm so excited! But anyways, g2g. Ttyl! Love from Danielle

Dear Diary-
Yo! =) A lot happened today. Well, first of all, yesterday Aunt Ethel and Grandpa visited. I was so happy to see them after such a long time! =D I got presents from both of them. ^_^() From Aunt Ethel I got markers (the cool kind that change colorz ^^) and a small bag. From Grandpa I got all these quarters (I got some new state quarters- Tennesee [did I spell that right? >_<], New Hampshire, North Carolina, and South Carolina) and twenty bucks. Plus yesterday I got ten dollars from Gran gran (Gran gran is what I call my grandma ^^). So we went SHOPPIN'! ^o^ Abilene Mall, here we come! The Abilene Mall is tiny, but at least they have an Old Navy, GapKids, and the Icing. I got two shirts and one pair of capris from Old Navy, a shirt from the Gap, and here is one of the best things I bought... We went to Walden's Books (or something like that, I don't remeber what it was called) and I bought... two mangas! Saint Tail and Miracle Girls! For ten bucks each >_< But it was worth it. I've already read Miracle Girls (SO CUTE!!!) and I'm starting on Saint Tail.
And now, you'll never believe this. We went by the Icing and... I GOT MY EARS PIERCED! Yep that's right! ^_^ They look so cool. My starters were February's birthstone (I have no idea how to spell it! They're purple though ^^). Heather bought me some cute dolphin earrings for when I can take out my starters. Just some advice to people who want to get their ears pierced... It hurts at first, no lie. But then you will be SO HAPPY that you got it done! ^_^ Well anywayz, g2g. Nothing more to talk about. =P Love from Danielle

Dear Diary-
Guess where I'm writing this from- a plane! Of course, I wrote it down on paper first then transfered it to the Internet. It's 10:00 at night in Belgium and it's broad daylight outside. Wanna guess why? 'Cause I'm in Chicago! My guess is that it's about 3:00 p.m. right now in chicago. Here we go- TAKEOFF! *plane flies into the air* =P Whee! Fwuffy white cwouds! =D Anyways, about today's VERY long trip. We get up in the morning at 7:00, then dad drives us to the airport after breakfast. FINALLY after all those annoying international and baggage check things, we BOARD THE PLANE! Dad wasn't coming, so obviously, he stayed at the airport. =P It was so great to hear all those ppl speaking English on the plane, if you know what I mean. =) Here is what the seating arrangement looked like FYI-
person-person-AISLE-Heather-Mom-Kirsten-AISLE-me-person
The dang flight was EIGHT HOURS. I was about ready to kill myself when- omg, halleuluia- it touched down. THANK THE LORD!!! =P Confined to a tiny airplane seat for eight hourse is NOT my idea of fun. XP Anyways, it wasn't over yet. We got off that dang plane, went through the international thing, and then we had to ride this train to our terminal. The train was PACKED. I had to stand right by the door and, being the paranoid person I am, was afraid that at any second the door would fly open and I'd fall out and kill myself. =P Anyways, we reach the place, then mom had us running through the airport so we wouldn't miss our next flight to Dallas Fort Worth, Texas. So eventually we reach the gate, all really tired after running through the airport, and they weren't even boarding yet! What a waste of energy! XP But eventually they boarded, and here I am, totally worn out, and dreading the flight to Abilene, Texas after this one. =P
Later on that day...
You will never believe what I've been through. I finally got on the flight to Abilene, but with a few- uh- obstacles along the way. Well we finally get off the flight to Dallas, TX and we were looking at the flight departure schedule and we noticed something weird- beside our flight to Abilene it said, "Canceled." Mom and I thought (in vain hope) that it might be a mistake and went to the train we were supposed tot ake to get to our gate, A6. So we got and the train and waited... and waited... and waited... but it didn't start. Eventually a man announced that there was a problem in Gate B or something and to "please wait". We gave it a few minutes and then got off the train to walk to Gate A. THE SECOND we stepped off the train, the doors of the train closed and it started moving! Too late for us, though. =( So we began the long walk to Gate A6. First we walked from Gate C to Gate A36, and then, this might not sound long but it darn sure was, A36 to sacred A6. Heather, Kirsten, and I just fell into chairs. We were so exhausted. Mom came back from checking in with the news that they had, after all, canceled our flight and we had to wait for a later one. Luckily the wait wasn't too long, but I still can't wait to get to good ol' Abilene! =) Love from Danielle
Sunday, March 31, 2002 - Easter!
Dear Diary-
Hi! It's Easter morning! =D Happy Easter guys! I just love Easter. It's so kawaii! =) And I also love spring. I'm so glad winter is over! Winter is cool at first but then you get tired of it! Anywayz, though...
Kirsten woke me up this morning saying, "You'd better get up RIGHT NOW so we can go on the Easter egg hunt!" lol, I wasn't too pleased with that rude awakening. It was 10:00 a.m. though, later than I usually sleep, so it didn't really matter. I finally got off my lazy, uh- back???- and went downstairs.
It turned out the "Easter bunny" had come... he left me a stuffed giraffe, a new mini whiteboard, lipstick, Post-It notes and construction paper in my Easter basket. Oh, and chocolate eggs. You can't forget the chocolate eggs. ;) So after a very hurried breakfast that consisted of three pancakes, I was ready for the Easter egg hunt. The eggs were hidden throughout the living room and dining room. The hunt starting point was in the living room, so I came up with this great strategy... while Heather and Kirsten were bust finding all of the eggs in the living room, I'd go to the dining room and snatch all of the eggs from there! >=D Bwah ha ha ha!!! I'm so evil! lol... it turned out that I got 11 little eggs and 7 big eggs! Of course in the end we had to split them up evenly though. >=( Go figure! The eggs had chocolates and coins inside them.
Well, I thinkt his morning is starting out okay for the most part! BTW, Kayla finally got on AIM last night but it was late so I only got to talk to her for 15 minutes. Love from Danielle

Dear Diary-
Well, this is my first "official" entry at my new Pitas.com location. I moved my diary to Pitas 'cause 1.) Geocities was acting up and not letting me access my files or change certain default colors and 2.) Pitas.com is cool =P The only bad thing about Pitas is HTML XP I have had 0 experience with HTML so don't blame me if this sucks. =P
Anyways, about today. You'll never believe this but DAD SPIKED HIS HAIR. It looks so different! Leave it to my dad to do something weird to his hair without telling us, though. One night he came home from work and he had died his jet-black hair BLOND! (He kept it blond for awhile but now it's black again.) Other than that it was nothing out of the ordainary. Oh, but it WAS the day before Easter. Heather and Kirsten were so excited that the so-called "Easter Bunny" is going to come tonight and "hide eggs" for us. Personally, I don't believe in any of that anymore. (No offense to anyone who does. =P) Also, dad keeps bugging me to go to bed (it's only 10:30 pm!) because it's "Spring Forward" tomorrow (that actually makes it 11:30 at night!). Heather has a really bad cough so hopefully she doesn't wake up coughing at 5:00 in the morning like she did today. >_< I was luckily able to sleep through it though, it was mom and dad she kept up! >=D I'm so evil!!! *sweatdrop* =( I'm really sad though 'cause no one was on AIM tonight. That's another good thing for when we visit the US over spring break, we can talk over AIM at the regular times and not have to worry about the 7 hour time difference. I just went to this really cute site called Pretty Sammy's Homepage. The URL is http://www.angelfire.com/rpg/PrettySammy/main.html if you're interested. =) Well g2g.

Dear Diary-
J'ai mal de tete encore... =( That means I have a headache again. Which is true X( Today hasn't been a very good day, besides the fact that it was a Friday. The weather was good enough, I guess. There wasn't a cloud in the sky =D
Anywayz... about at school. This is why I'm so sad: some of my friends seem to becoming... uh... unloyal (?!?!) to me. Like Julie. She's started making fun of me behind my back. I can tell because she'll say something, glance at me, then burst out laughing. I don't find it quite as amusing. >=( I don't know about Melissa C. either. She seemed to be playing along with Julie, but after recess she acted pretty nice to me. Chloe is always nice to me, though. =) I'm also really confused because only about half of the class was at school today. I bet the others were either 1.) sick or 2.) got an early start on their vacation. Both Melissa V. and Marilyn wern't there. =( I missed Marilyn! ='( I made up this little saying: Sometimes I think Marilyn is the only one holding me together these days. XD Kinda kawaii, I guess... =P
Anwyays, you may be wondering what I meant when I said the other people who wern't at school may have gotten and early start on their vacation. That's because... THE SECOND THE EXITED THE SCHOOL BUILDING TODAY OUR TWO-WEEK SPRING VACATION OFFICIALLY BEGUN!!! =D =D =D I can't wait 'till we go to the USA and I get to see Callie! (McCall if you're reading this I love you hun and I can't wait to release all my hyperness with ya when I see you again! We'll rock the place! XD)

Dear Diary-
YO!!! After two long days of being SICK, I'm BAAACK! =D I've still got a runny nose and a small cough, but my fever's gone. I guess I got rid of it overnight or something 'cause last night I was 102.8 degrees F and this morning I was 98. Strange, if you ask me. =P
So anwyayz, I had to go to school today since I wasn't running a fever (I got to stay home Wednesday). It was another one of those basically-just-play-all-day-and-never-work-any days. We seem to have a lot of those in Europe. =) Not that that's a bad thing. At the end of the day we went to the ice skating rink. We always go to the ice skating rink once a month. I'm pretty good at ice skating, but almost none of my friends are =P
Oh, and can't forget, after this week we have TWO ENTIRE WEEKS OF PURE SPRING BREAK!!! HALLELUIA! =D And guessies whatsies! For one of the weeks Mom, Heather, Kirsten, and I are going to the USA! I can't wait! The best part is that I get to see my best friend McCall!!! I CAN'T WAIT DARNIT!!!
Well that's all for now =P

Dear Diary-
*holds her head in her hands* Ohhhhhh I don't feeeeeeel gooooood XP I've got a major headache right now FYI...
Anywayz... *looks at her last entry in this diary and jumps out of he chair* YIIIIKES!!!! HAVE I REALLY BEEN THAT LAZY?!?! O.O() Of course, I STILL haven't posted my entries from Gouvy... plus for some reason or other I felt I didn't need to write entries on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday... X_X I've got a lot to cover! I should be getting busy right about now...
Actually, to tell the truth, nothing really interesting happened on either Friday or Saturday, so I'll move straight to Sunday. Sunday.. hmm, Sunday... *flips through her papers* Ah, voila! Sunday... oh yes, we went to... *drumroll* THE ZOO!!! *waits for applause* *silence*... Well it was dad's decision! He's the one that shoved me into the car even though I had a splitting headache! HE'S the one to blame! *people start throwing tomatos at Danielle's dad* Actually, the zoo would have been pretty good if I hadn't been sick. They had like, millions of these monkey-like things in this one exibit, and they were all swinging from ropes and doing flips... *lol* Am I crazy or what? Oh and they had these really kawaii KOALAS!!! They were so ADORABLE! Most of them were sleeping, but they were so cute... Ohhh I just wanna squeeze them and hold them and cuddle them... =) I got a blue koala necklace at the giftshop too. It has the little blue matallic (did I spell that right???) stone in it. It's kawaii. =D
As for Monday, school XP *two thumbs waaay down* BOOOO!!!! Oh well, at least we didn't have to do any work =D We played in the gym all morning, and watched a movie all afternoon! The movie was weird. I'd never seen it, and of course, I was voice-over French... The title translated to The Last Emperor... See, I'm not all that bad at my French, huh? =)
And, of course, today! Tuesday! It's still morning, so not much has happened... but guess what! I have no school! =D =D =D My teacher's not going to be there! I have a WHOLE DAY OFF!!! =)
I'll probably write more later on today...

Dear Diary-
I'm really annoyed at the moment. This is how it started. First of all, I was just surfing the web when I came upon this really cool site called Cute Cute Pet Shop. I saw this really kawaii pet that I wanted to adopt for this site. The only prob was, the site had to be about anime! I am currently working on another site, called Girls of Anime United, but it's not finished yet. So I was working on it and found out that I had lost some URLs that I needed to complete my site! You see, I had adopted some other things from other sites and I didn't know the site URL to link back to! =( It really stinks. Sorry if you didn't understand any of that, it's hard to explain. I hope someone gets on AIM tonight.

Dear Diary-
OMG!!! I can't believe I haven't written in my diary for two days! =P I'm gonna have to make this entry a two in one. Nothing much happened on Thursday, so I'll include both Friday and today, Saturday, in this entry. Here we go! ^o^
-Friday-
Today at school it was a play-day! ^^ We went to this gymnasium to play La Crosse against other schools. You see, a couple of weeks ago we went to a different gym and played La Crosse against some schools. We won first place, so we got to move onto the finals. Mostly only boys played in the games, but two girls did. The people who played were Dimitri, Chloe, Carole, Jeremy, Anthony, Audrey, Theo, Bilal, Mikel, and I think that's it! The ppl who didn't play were me, both Melissas, Julie, Marilyn, Phillipe, Olliver, and Jorice. We got beaten so bad. We were in second to last place. Here are the scores-
1st game- 10-6 We won
2nd game- 10-12 We lost
3rd game- 5-10 We lost
4th game- 11-6 We won
So at least it was 50-50. Besides it was fun anywayz! All the people who didn't play just kinda hung out, listened to their walkmans, played on their GameBoys, and and this one guy's case, play their harmonica! =P So even though we didn't play, it was worth going. Anything beats school! =D
At night we watched this really kawaii movie called My Neighbor Totoro! It was anime and so sweet! ^_^
-Saturday-
Today I got my hair cut. We went to this really neat place for kids. They had a cute little puppy wandering around and Shrek (in French) on TV. My hair's about a little shorter than shoulder-length now. It's much easier to brush, though. Heather, Kirsten, and I gave Charmant a bath. Mom and dad painted the last of the downstairs white. Tonight I babysat H & K while mom and dad went out to eat. We watched The Shaggy Dog. It was funny, but not as cute as My Neighbor Totoro. That is really breif because it's almost time for bed. =P Anyways, you get the picture. Oh and by the way, I made up a new anime called Minu the House-Witch. I haven't done much on it yet but it's mainly about a witch named Minu and when this one evil witch kills a family, all regular humans are scared and the cops are determined to hunt all the witches down. So Minu is seperated from her parents and from her home in Japan to go to America, where she hides from Japanese cops and finds work as a house maid. Along with the help of her new American friends, and a few unexpected suprises from her home in Japan, Minu works to earn witches' good reptutation back while not getting caught herself. May sound a little cheesy, but trust me, if it does, then I suck at summaries. It's actually pretty neat. =D
Well, goodnight!

Dear Diary-
OoOoOh I'm sOoOoOo hUnGrY!!!! x_x *stomach growls really loud*
Uuugh, well even though I'm hungry, the entry must go on. It rained again today. That's about all I have to say about the weather =P
Today at school because it was a Wednesday, we had a half day. (Yep, we get half days on wednesdays!!! *sticks her tongue out at the ppl who don't*) I found out today that on Friday we're going to have a "pique-nique", which means that we get to go to this gigundo gymnasium all day, watch the boys play La Crosse, and sit back, play our GameBoys, listen to walkmans, or whatever with our friends! =D I'm so happy! I could do with a break! Nothing much else happened @ school though.
Charmant had to go to the vet today and get a shot in his butt. The vet said that he should run a fever, sleep more, and eat less over the next few days. Boy, was she ever right. All that lazy-butt has done today is sleep, sleep, sleep! Actually, he's right beside me while I type this, sleeping.
You probably don't care about this next part, but I had a dream last night that I was on the Titanic and I knew it was going to sink and everyone else didn't. It was really strange. And the dream was animated! I looked pretty cute though =) I've had stranger dreams though. Once I had a dream that Brock (from Pokemon) was a Pokemon breeder that bred Sailor Scouts (from Sailor Moon). And also once I had a dream that these giant ladybugs and bumblebees were chasing me. I'm scaring myself. =P
My french tutor is gonna be coming in about an hour. The tutoring session lasts 2 hours but it always seems so short. You really needed to know that, huh.

Dear Diary-
Well, the weather took a change for the worse. It was drizzling practically all day outside today. Yuck. Mother Nature needs to make up her mind or something because I'm not gonna put up with this for much longer... *babbles on*
*Danielle finally ends her rants about the weather* Okay, I have a lot to say so you just better shut up and listen. (lol) First, I need to say something funny that I forgot to add in yesterday. Okay so Marilyn and I were just hanging around at recess and all of the sudden these two 2nd year (or at least I think they were second year, not sure..) girls burst out of the girl's bathroom and say to Marilyn and me, "Regarde! La premier toilette!" (Translation: Look! The first toilet!) So Marilyn and I go to 'la premier toilette' and it's flooded with water! We look in the first stall and the toilet was completely full with toilet paper and it had water streaming over the sides! A janitor took care of it, but it was still kind of funny ^_^
Anywayz, about today. Okay, this was really funny. I had this pen that advertised one of those campaigns to buckle your seatbelt and on it (in English, obviously) it said 'Restrain yourself'. Somehow one of my French-speaking friends, Melissa, got ahold of it and she said, trying to imitate the English, "Reeeestraaan yorselff". So she goes up to this little midget guy in our class named Bilal (Bilal speaks a little English) and she says, "Bilal is reeeestraaan yorselff." (She has a crush on him and is always calling him names to get his attention) It was so hilarious! =D
Anwayz, that's about it for today. Tonight we're going to give Charmant a bath. He always looks like a drowned rat when he's wet. =P
I'm about to loose this HUGE molar. All that's connecting to my gums is a tiny piece of tissue. =)
I'll write again tomorrow!

Dear Diary-
Hi. You can really tell that spring is coming from the weather we've been having. You hardly needed a coat today. I'm glad the weather isn't so cold and rainy anymore.
*sigh* I've got the Monday blues. I can't believe we have to go through a whole 'nother week of school! DANGIT! *pouts* Now, what was I gonna say again? Oh yeah, H & K seemed to enjoy their new school. Heather made two English-speaking friends and Kirsten made an English-speaking friend and a French-speaking friend. They both said their new school was easier. I wonder if it's any easier in the 6th year. *heh heh*
About school for me. Today we had a spelling test, but I didn't have to do it because I don't know French. Mom + dad say that they think that I should have to do whatever the other kids are doing, but I don't agree. Some things, like the spelling test, would be really really difficult for me to do because of the language difference. I don't see the point of trying when I know that I'm gonna fail. Besides, it was the teacher, not me who said I didn't have to. Most of the time I think mom + dad expect too much from me. On my report card from school, I got a 75% math average, and they didn't even say "Good job" or "Nice effort". I mean, that is the lowest math average I've ever gotten, but now, more than ever, they should at least praise me for my effort. I'm doing the best I can, and in my opinion, that's the best I can do. ^_^
Also, at recess today, I got hit in the face with a soccer ball. I just turned around and WHAM! it hits me smack in the face. My glasses just kinda dropped into my hands. Golly, it stung. The boys said they were sorry and asked if I was okay ("Ca va?"), but my glasses keep sliding off my nose. I think they got bent out of shape.
Digimon's not on today for some reason. Oh well, I'll survive. *starts to sing the song I Will Survive* At first I was afraid, I was petrified...

Dear Diary-
It was absolutely beautiful outside today. Dad gave us the choice of going to the zoo or staying home and he would put up the fort. We finally decided to stay home. We played outside practically all day, it was so nice outside. Anyways, dad got the fort up. It looks great. He put it in the sunny corner of the yard. ^_^
Tomorrow is H & K's (abbriviation for Heather and Kirsten's) first day at the international school. Mom asked H if she would cry and H said, "Maybe." Their first class of the day is English, so at least that should give them a good impression. Normally in Belgian schools the second language taught is Dutch, since half of Belgium is French-speaking and the other is Dutch-speaking. Plus there is a little part that speaks German. Dad says it's amazing how so many languages are spoken in that one little country. Personally, I like the Dutch side better, because almost everyone there speaks English. ^_^
Other than playing outside, I'd say that I studied French for the majority of the day. First I read about 7 l o n g pages in my text book, then I memorized a different page in the book, then studied the verb etre and faire. It was pretty dull. -_- And on a Sunday, too.
I'm really sad that tomorrow is back to school. Oh, and by the way, after this week, my class is going on a camping-like trip for a WHOLE WEEK. I've never been away with school for that long! I wonder what it will be like, being French people and all. The camp is called Gouvy. I'll bring a notebook with me to write diary entries in (then transfer them onto the comp) since I won't have acess to a computer (that I know of, at least). I hope it will be fun. You're allowed to bring a GameBoy and stuff like that. I wonder if anyone will be jealous or interested that I have a GB Advance, since I haven't seen too many of them around here. We'll just have to find out, I guess.
This morning I watched this one music video on MTV (yep, they have MTV in Belgium) and it's been stuck in my head ever since. I don't know what it's called though because the title was in French.
Anywayz, g2g.

Dear Diary-
It's 8:00 in the morining. I had to get up really early to take Charmant for a walk. He was whining his head off. Oh well. I wouldn't have been able to sleep with all that racket, anywayz.
I'm really bored right now. Heather and Kirsten are watching TV and dad is making sugar waffles for breakfast. Right now I'm chatting with Kayla on Yahoo Instant Messenger. Their spring break is only a week long while ours is two, but their's is right now. We have to wait for a couple more weeks. Kayla's so lucky. She's going to California. And she said that when they get back, her mom is 'most likely' going to buy her hamsters. She said she might name them Mickey and Minnie. That's so cute! ^_^ I guess some people just have all the luck while others have none. lol
Have to go now. Digimon Season 2 might come on at '8:22'. We're not sure if it's on Saturday or Sunday though. I have to go anyway, though.
I'll write more later on today. TTYL

Dear Diary-
I am so mad. I was battling Kayla's NeoPet in the NeoPet battledome, and I was about to win. She only had 3 hit points left for me to knock out. So I made my finishing move, and waited for her to make her's. And waited. And waited. And waited. Finally I sent her an instant message asking if she was still in the battledome or not. She says, "No, my computer freezes up whenever I try to go there." I was so angry! Personally, I think she did that just to get out the easy way. I wasted a whole bunch of my equipped items that I had payed a lot of money for, and I was about to win my first battle, and then she backs out of it all.
Write more later, I guess.

PS- Digimon comes on Sunday, I guess, because it wasn't on today.

Dear Diary-
Hi, it's me again. Duh, who else would it be? -_-() Mom and dad are painting the living room white. It really stinks. *holds nose*
Today we went shopping. We went to a pet supply store and got Charmant a black harness, a gigundo fluffy bed, and a carrier (is that how you spell it? well, you know what I mean.). I wanted to buy him this cool silver metallic 'jacket', too, but at the checkout we found out it cost 22 EUROS. (for those of you in the U.S. who are reading this, Euros are about equivalent to dollars.) Dad was like, No. Way. He also pointed out that the weather is getting warmer. Party pooper. >_< We also went to Club, an office supply store, and bought Heather and Kirsten loads of new school supplies for their new school. L'Ecole D'Hamme-Mille kinda supplied all of the stuff for us. I got a new fountain pen. It looks exactly the same as the one I lost, but at the checkout counter, I found one that was even cooler and cheaper than the one we had bought, but I just figured, Too late. Dad was kinda mad when I told him outside the store. ^_~ After that we went to this really good chocolate place called Gallet or something like that.
I'm really pissed (excuse my language) right now because after I'm finished writing this, dad's gonna make me do FrEnCh HoMeWoRk. I hate French. I hate homework. But I hate French homework the most. *pouts*
Oh, and by the way, Digimon did come on this morning, but we missed over half of it. Crap.

Dear Diary-
This is my very first entry in this diary. Anywayz, today was just like any other day. Except it was a FRIDAY!!!! ^_^ Yay! Weekend ahoy! Okay, I'm crazy. -_-() Today it was Heather and Kirsten's last day at L'ecole D'Hamme-Mille. They are going to an international school (forgot the name of it) starting Monday the 11th. Melissa and Julie were really sad to see them go. So was I, kind of... now I won't have anyone to speak English to at recess except for stupid Mikael (is that how you spell it? i don't care...) and his faithful sidekick Bilal. Whoo-hoo. *sweatdrop* Today at the end of school, though, we helped the cafeteria workers (when I say 'we', I mean the 6th grade) get ready for that big banquet they're having. I helped wrap forks and knifes in napkins. -_- Most of mine turned out like crap, but that's not my point...
After we did that it was almost time to leave, so we basically played outside the rest of the day. Carole was looking at Mikael's little... plastic things, I guess you could call them... people collect them over here... and Audrey was watching her (Audrey's this really cute guy who's smart and funny and CUTE... *sigh* I have a MAJOR crush on him FYI) and I just kinda casually skooted over... until I was standing shoulder to shoulder with him! It was heaven.... he looks even cuter up close... *sigh sigh sigh* Huh? Where was I again?
Anywayz, enough with my rants, g2g... 'Robot Wars' is on tonight and GOD KNOWS how obsessed dad is with that show... lol Revenge of the Nerds is what we call it... *glances at the strange looks on people's faces* What are you lookin' at? Okay, I'm going, I'm GOING....
